SOUND ALARM WHEN SMOKE IS DETECTED: Our 5-inch smoke detector sounds a loud 85-decibel alarm when smoke is detected. You'll hear 3 long beeps with a red LED light flashing in time and repeating.

OPERATIONAL STABILITY: This device operates on 120V AC wiring installed in the ceiling, with 2 AA alkaline batteries providing backup coverage during power outages. The batteries are included with your purchase.

IMPROVED SENSING TECHNOLOGY: Our enhanced sensing technology reduces false alarms often caused by cooking. The device has been comprehensively tested to meet the latest UL standards, including UL 217 9th Edition and FCC standards.

SELF-TEST feature: Internal components ensure the alarm is always operating as expected. Perform a button test once per week to verify alarm operation, as this is not a substitute for a manual push test.

INTERCONNECT CAPABILITY: When one alarm sounds, they all sound, allowing you to get out faster. Different models may have different interconnection options and requirements. Refer to the User Guide for more information.

MULTIPLE LED INDICATIONS: LED lights indicate the alarm’s status. Green indicates normal operation, amber indicates an operating error, and red indicates smoke has been detected.

EASY TO TEST AND HUSH: The test and hush button make it easy to check the 5-inch smoke detector and silence false alarms if they occur.

LIMITED WARRANTY: Our device comes with a 10-year limited warranty. The warranty begins when the alarm is first powered on. If the exact date is unknown, it’s recommended to replace the alarm.
