The ionization sensor helps detect fast-flaming fires that consume combustible materials rapidly. The alarm is 120-volt AC inter-connectable, allowing you to connect up to 12 smoke alarms and six of a combination of UL-listed BRK heat alarms and RM3 relays (maximum 18 devices). Smoke and CO alarms must be interconnected separately per NFPA 72 and UL 217.

A latching alarm indicator automatically identifies the unit that initiated the alarm, while smart technology helps to reduce nuisance alarms. The single test/silence button allows you to silence a non-threatening alarm or low battery warning, and also test the unit's functionality.

The perfect mount system includes a gasketless base for easy installation and a new mounting bracket that keeps the alarm secure over a wide rotation range, enabling perfect alignment.
